Ine van Son

The germ for 'Maidens Voyage' was laid during my stay in Ireland. Fascinated by the totaly weathered stones who do not show their impression when you only use your eyes. Their appearence, originating from weather and wind and uncountable years, only really shows when you 'rub' their surface. The most enchanting figures show themselves, as if travelling from a faraway past.
